Inhale. Exhale. Relax.
There’s a stream of thoughts constantly passing through your head. You can’t focus and every task at hand seems to take three times longer than it normally would.
You try to focus on one task and another one comes up right away. You try to quiet your mind, but the voices just scream louder. You try to shout out for help, but your voice is not heard.
Don’t fight all the voices in your head. Don’t fight through the fog. You don’t need to scream for help, you’re not actually drowning, you just feel like you are. Instead, listen to the many thoughts in your head and let them speak to you, let the creativity come to you and don’t stop it. Navigate aimlessly through the fog and you may find yourself in incredible new places you’d have never known about otherwise. Enjoy the water you’re swimming in and take the time to relax and breathe in.
Your brain plays tricks on you to make you feel like everything is falling apart around you. You simply need to stay away from those negative thoughts and convince yourself that it’s not as bad as it seems.
As long as you take the time to inhale, exhale and relax, you’ll be just fine!
